Getting the Name of Your Computer


All district computers should have their name in the lower right-hand corner of the desktop. See the below image for an example.

If your computer does not have this, please take the following steps to get the name:

1. Click the Start button to open the Start Menu.
   
2. Click the ‘Gear’ icon just above the start button. When you mouse over this, it will say ‘Settings’.
   

1. In the Windows Settings menu, click ‘System’
   

1. Click ‘About’.
   

1. The name will be displayed in the ‘Device specifications’ section of this screen.
